Automaker FAW - Volkswagen has become the target of envy as news spread online of the company's plans to give out year-end bonuses equaling 27 months of salaries, Guangzhou Daily reported Thursday.

The company confirmed the news but said it was not that much as they based the bonus on the basic salary, which is 3,000 yuan ($466) per month. Basic salary accounts for one-third of the total payroll for the company, the report said.

一汽大眾證實(shí)了該條消息，但是稱是以3000元(466美元)的月基本工資作為獎(jiǎng)金發(fā)放的基數(shù)，所以實(shí)際并沒有那么多。報(bào)道稱，一汽大眾公司員工的基本工資占工資總額的三分之一。
