It's okay to be different.
Difference can take on a vary wide spectrum such as race, gender, ones social status in society which plays an important part in the class rooms because everyone does not learn at the same pace. For example there are those who come from low-income families who do not have the advantage of students from middle class environments, thus learning for them will be somewhat difficult and vary challenging.
Sometimes conflicts may arise with the student and instructors based on attitudes and feelings of inadequacy based on how the students may feel that the instructor is being partial or leaning more toward the upper social status students than the student who comes from a mediocre background.
Thus the instructor has to be very creative in his/her abilities not to let their personality become a factor when dealing with their students. They have to make sure that each student is given equal opportunity to learn at his/her on pace and respected for who they are and not their social status in life.
A good instructor is one who will take advantage of the differences that the students bring to the class room and will make valuable application of this factor by pulling out of his/her students that its okay to be different because variety is the spice of life, thus it make life more interesting and the fact that we can learn so much from each other because we live in a multicultural society thus, “creating multicultural learning communities”.

差別可以出現(xiàn)在很多不同的領(lǐng)域,比如種族,性別,個(gè)人的社會(huì)地位。社會(huì)地位在教室里起很大作用,因?yàn)槊總(gè)人會(huì)因此導(dǎo)致學(xué)習(xí)的快慢不一樣。舉個(gè)例子吧,低收入家庭學(xué)生沒(méi)有中等家庭學(xué)生的一些優(yōu)勢(shì),所以對(duì)于他們來(lái)說(shuō),學(xué)習(xí)就會(huì)有點(diǎn)困難,而且很有挑戰(zhàn)性。
某些時(shí)候,如果學(xué)生感覺(jué)到老師的關(guān)注和感情總是偏向那些來(lái)自上層社會(huì)的學(xué)生,而普通家庭的學(xué)生缺少老師的關(guān)注和感情,那么在學(xué)生和老師之間就會(huì)出現(xiàn)矛盾。
這樣一來(lái),老師就必須具有創(chuàng)造性的能力,不要讓自己的個(gè)性影響和學(xué)生的交往。他們必須確保每個(gè)學(xué)生都享有同等的按照自己的快慢來(lái)學(xué)習(xí)的機(jī)會(huì),確保每個(gè)學(xué)生都會(huì)得到對(duì)于他們的自身的尊重,而不是對(duì)于他們社會(huì)地位的尊重。
一個(gè)好的老師會(huì)把班里學(xué)生的差別作為優(yōu)勢(shì),來(lái)充分利用學(xué)生的差別。有差別是正,F(xiàn)象,因?yàn)椴顒e是生活的調(diào)料,使生活更加有趣味。我們可以彼此學(xué)習(xí),因?yàn)槲覀兩钤谝粋(gè)多元文化的社會(huì),從而創(chuàng)造一個(gè)多元文化的學(xué)習(xí)團(tuán)體。
